An integrated security system with programmable security I / O terminals is undergoing greater technology convergence. The appearance of the safety terminal is yellow. Internally, it has redundant circuits and microcontrollers, which can maximize reliability and meet the safety standards of IEC 61508 and DIN EN ISO 13849-1. These devices and non safety terminals are installed in standard I / O terminals, and can communicate through industrial Ethernet system (such as EtherCAT). PC based automation software with standard safety function blocks allows engineers to create the necessary programs to protect workers and equipment working in these environments. During operation, PC based machine controllers and security controllers can monitor each other.
